Euro Fun Fair!
I went to fun fair! I went to fun fair! *hahah* Yeps, that was how excited I felt through out the whole time I was there. Heard about this fun fair before my finals but have got not idea where it is till I drove past the 1U new wing's parking area. With the knowledge that it has been operating for the past few weeks I knew that the fun fair wasn't going to be there for much longer. I was so determined(ahah..maybe even more determined than the time when I was studying for exams) to go. Had to face much obstacles that day. The rain, people cancelling out last minute; just to name a few(haha..actually that was pretty much it =P). Nevertheless, I went to EURO FUN FAIR !
Arrived there with Aaron at around 9:30p.m. Walked around for almost an hour because Diksha, CheKang and Valentina were still on the way from Midvalley. Aaron and I started to scout for rides that we would be interested in(we couldn't take all the rides as they are relatively expensive). As we were walking, we were also coming out with an approximate amount of money that we need to spend. Every ride had a different price and we came into conclusion that the higher the level of intensity of the ride, the more expensive it is. I guess it was pretty wise for us to come out with a budget. So the magical figure that we came up with was RM 30. Hmph, that's the thing about budgets. We can never stick to them!
- (Taken from the carpark, walking towards the funfair) *kind of blur, I know*
- What is a funfair without the ferris wheel. Yeps, this is definitely the first thing that caught my eye upon entering the place.
- The name of this ride is Top Gun. No idea why they named it that. Probably it's because..you..em..yeah no idea why they named it that. You know the thing we learnt from physics, whereby all the kinetic energy is converted into potential energy when an object reaches its peak height? It is SO TRUE! This time, I was the OBJECT! Considering this is moving in a circular motion, we need to take into account the targential acceleration and the radial acceleration. After doing the math for both of them, we can then use Pythgoras' Theorem to get its resultant acceleration. So basically, in order to count the force that I was going through, all you need to do is multiply my mass with the resultant force. Hmph, but not knowing the exact speed and everything I can't come out with a specific figure but what I can tell you is, it is BIG! We also know that Stress = Force/Area. Area is inversely porportional to stress. That means the smaller the area the bigger the stress. Well, I am basically quite small in area*short marh*. Hence, the equation is RIGHT! I was feeling so freaking "stressed"! Sorry for the lengthy explaination. Engineering student mah. =P
- There is NOTHING scary about the Horror House! What a waste of RM 4! I was no afraid of no ghost. The only thing that scared me in there was the attendant who stood by a corner just to make sure nothing goes wrong inside the Horror House. Hey! He appeared out of nowhere, kay? =P
- Diksha, pretending to be afraid. He soon found out that his pants were wet as the "ghost" shoots out water. Haha!
- The Challenger. Not entirely scary. Not when compared to Top Gun. It basically swings like a pendulum. Had time to kick Aaron's leg during the ride! Hee hee!
After all that, we still managed to capture a few shots before we left.
- Diksha and Valentina. Heart shaped by CheKang. AWww...
- CheKang and I. Ferris wheel ride.
- CheKang and Aaron. Ferris wheel ride.
- ME. After coming down from The Challenger.
- Valen, with her bear which is suffering from leukimia! Haha. Its fur started to come off the moment she won it from one of the game stalls. Hmph. Maybe that is why she won it so easily! =P Nah, kidding..adorable, cute and very huggable. Ah yes, I am talking about the bear not you, Valen!
- All fun must come to an end. Goodbye Euro FunFair 2005. We shall probably meet again in the next decade or so. Will probably be too old for this by then and heart condition will not permit us to ride on certain rides anymore. Haha!
So yeah, after that has ended, Aaron and I counted the amount of money we REALLY spent on that night. Here goes:
Entrance Fees . . . . . . . RM 3
Payment for rides . . . . . . . . RM 32
Reliving childhood days . . . . . . . . . P R I C E L E S S.
